Your responsibilities will include Performs setup, calibration, maintenance, programming and operation on a variety of machining equipment including lathes,surface grinders, drill presses, milling machines, computer numerically controlled and hydraulic presses to assemble and / or fabricate parts and complex assemblies.
Performs Welding (TIG, MIG, and Stick) Participates in continuous improvement of cell processes Responsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices / conditions High school diploma or GED Journeyman's Card OR 5+ years experience as a machinist in a manufacturing environment.
Completion of Industrial Maintenance courses or technical certificate preferred Experience with metal stamping presses and thermoforming machine molds Understanding of mathematics (trigonometry, geometry) Work well on own without direct supervision but able to respond to directions and job assignments Work well with other employees in a team environment Locate, trouble - shoot and correct die and mold problems Flexibility to work long hours and other work schedules as needed
