Summary :
The Warehouse Associate / Driver will work closely with the warehouse staff to perform and assist with all tasks associated with warehousing and distribution.
This position will occasionally require driving a non CDL truck making deliveries and pick-ups, depending on current business needs.
Primary responsibilities :
- Primarily work in the warehouse, with occasional deliveries in the company truck.
- Assist in verification of all outgoing and incoming product for accuracy in terms of size, amount and type.
- Occasionally operate powered industrial vehicles (forklift, pallet jacks, order pickers, etc.)
- Maintain computerized Inventory controls and order pick tickets for kitting of jobs.
- Assist with warehouse duties such as cycle counts, kitting and general warehouse duties.
- Maintain records required for compliance with state and federal regulations, including driver’s logs, records of fuel purchases, mileage records and other records required by law and Company policy.
- Timely transportation of product from origin to destination as assigned, ensuring all administrative paperwork is available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies delivery.
- Abide by all Company safety policies and state and federal transportation regulations.
Required Skills & Experience :
- Warehouse / Driver experience, preferred.
- Intermediate level understanding of Microsoft (Excel, Word etc.) and web-based tools.
- Must have a valid driver’s license with a safe driving record, or such other proper license classification as to the qualifications required by the Department of Transportation in conjunction with vehicle weight.
- High School Diploma or GED Equivalency, preferred.
You will be required to satisfactorily complete a pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical exam, a criminal and motor vehicle background check, and possess and maintain a valid driver's license.
Our warehouse is based out of Salem, NH, the Corporate Office, but the work may be performed throughout New England.
