We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction management, with expertise in project scheduling. This role requires effective communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Responsibilities
- Utilize construction management software such as HeavyBid, Primavera, and Bluebeam for project tracking and documentation.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met.
- Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress and address any issues that arise on the construction site.
- Review schematics and plans to ensure compliance with local regulations and safety standards.
- Prepare progress reports for stakeholders detailing project status, challenges, and solutions.
- Manage project changes by assessing impacts on scope, schedule, and budget while communicating effectively with all parties involved.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques and project scheduling methodologies.
- Proficiency in construction management software including Procore, HeavyBid, Primavera, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and other relevant tools.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams.
- Familiarity with schematics and the ability to interpret technical drawings is essential.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving with a focus on delivering high-quality results.
