Salary : ASW Starting at $36 per hour DOE LCSW $43 per hour

Job Title : Therapist

Salary : LCSW $ 43 per hour or an ASW $ 36 per hour

Location : Tustin

Openings : 2 Position Available : 1 Bilingual English / Vietnamese and 1 Bilingual English / Spanish

Position Purpose : To provide mental health services, including individual and group therapy, to patients within an integrated health model.

Core Duties and responsibilities, include but are not limited to :

• Provide individual and family psychotherapy utilizing Evidenced-Based Practices
• Establish positive, trusting rapport with patients
• Create individualized treatment plans according to symptoms and behaviors
• Conduct ongoing assessment of patient progress and implementation of goals
• Able to incorporate patient choice into treatment model
• Refer patients to outside specialists or agencies as needed
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain patient confidentiality
• Respond to crisis situations and intervene therapeutically as necessary; assess for safety of patient, assess for suicidality, homicidality, self-harm ideation, and mandated reporting as necessary
• Complete intake assessments including biopsychosocial
• Engage patient in treatment planning, implement treatment plan with patient, discharge planning, transition patient to community services
• Able to clinically conceptualize patient’s behaviors based on presenting symptoms and strengths
• Collaborate in multidisciplinary team to ensure proper treatment is implemented
• Maintain current acceptable standards of charting and documentation
• Ensure all necessary Board of Behavioral Sciences regulations are adhered to
• Provide consultation to staff within scope of social work
• Facilitate social support groups
• Be a part of Behavioral Health department within medical facility
• Other duties as assigned

Educational / Credential Requirements :

Master’s degree in Social Work, registered with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, LCSW License (In CA) preferred, BLS / CPR certificate

Qualifications, Skills and Experience :

• Ability to efficiently manage time and work under pressure, knowledge of Electronic Health Record programs, adherence to established legal and ethical codes of the California Board of Behavioral Sciences, excellent communication skills, flexible, cultural competency, professionalism, organizational skills,
• Bilingual Vietnamese preferred.
• Experience providing services to highly vulnerable populations such as individuals experiencing homelessness preferred

Work Hours : 9am-6pm, Monday through Friday.
