About the Role
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our dedicated team.
In this role, you will play a crucial part in helping children improve their ability to engage in daily activities. Working closely with patients, you will assess their individual needs and design personalized treatment plans to address their specific challenges.

Responsibilities
- Conduct evaluations and provide effective supervision
- Assist children in developing fine motor skills, including grasping, releasing, and enhancing handwriting abilities
- Address hand-eye coordination to improve play skills, such as hitting a target, batting a ball, and copying from a blackboard
- Support children with developmental delays in performing daily tasks independently, including toileting, bathing, grooming, and feeding themselves
- Work with individuals who have sensory and attention issues to enhance focus and social skills
- Help those with behavioral disorders learn anger-management techniques, promoting positive ways to cope with anger
- Evaluate patients' need for specialized equipment, such as wheelchairs, splints, bathing devices, dressing aids, and communication tools
Qualifications
- Graduate degree in Occupational Therapy (master's or clinical doctorate)
- Excellent organizational skills
- Adaptability and openness to change
- Strong collaboration skills
- Proficiency in documentation and writing
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
