RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assists with the identification, monitoring, tracking, and forecasting of funding opportunities
- Conducts research related to potential donors, funding opportunities, partners, and technical areas
- Supports proposal development efforts, which could include reviewing solicitations, editing and formatting documents, drafting capacity statements, and other tasks
- Manages logistics for meetings involving staff and partners around the globe
- Supports the collecting, sharing, and analysis of key department and division performance data, including data entry and review, and developing and / or editing presentations
- Contributes to departmental and organizational knowledge management efforts through use of shared drives and Salesforce and supports efforts to organize and share department and proposal-related information
- Supports the Director in monitoring department annual budget and expenditures
- Coordinates procurement processes for the department and processes invoices and payment requests
- Supports BD department training and mentoring of staff across the division
- Ability to travel domestically between ID offices at least once per quarter
- Ability to travel internationally
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in the international health field / funding and government agency funding processes, non-profit communication and fundraising, or other relevant work experience.
Preferred fields include public health, international studies or related field
- Knowledge of the global health field / funding, funding applications, and / or general fundraising experience
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Very organized and detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task and manage own time well
- Fluency in English required; proficiency in French preferred
- Proficiency in Google platform and Microsoft Office : Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe
Salary commensurate with experience.
