Construction Estimator needed for large scale commercial construction projects in Albany NY. Candidate should have a knowledge of subcontractors in the Albany NY market.

Client is a commercial builder / developer located in Albany NY. They specialize in ground-up and remodel construction projects.
All of the projects are in and around the capitol region.
Description
- Construction Estimator will :
- Works directly with VP to generate estimates for small and large projects.
- Compile bidders lists with PM's.
- Maintains bid log and actively updates status for management.
- Interact directly with project owners as required including attending meetings with partners and project managers.
- Bi-weekly project updates with entire team.
- Work closely with owners as needed, including walk-through's, for bid preparation and proposal development.
- Communicate and interact with sub-contractors and component suppliers such as concrete, steel, joist, precast and masonry.
Profile
- 7+ years of experience as a Construction Estimator
- 2+ years experience leading as head Estimator
- Average project size of $10-$50 million
- Knowledge of Building and Construction codes
- Ground up commercial / industrial construction experience is a must
- Construction Management, Architecture, or Relevant Degree a plus but not required
