Position Overview :
The Calibration Technician will provide calibration and test support to the engineering department.
Responsibilities Include :
- Performs calibration according to written procedures on measuring and testing equipment.
- Performs routine test equipment calibration according to SOP requirements.
- Equipment repair and maintaining logs and calibration records.
- Prescribe and implement effective preventative maintenance program to avoid premature failures.
- Initiates and / or institutes changes to calibration and test procedures.
Required Experience and Education :
- Associates of Science (AS) or equivalent experience in related field.
- 2+ years of experience with calibration, inspection, measuring, and test equipment.
- Must be familiar with Fluke A or A as well as MET TEAM / METCAL.
- Experience in diagnosis and troubleshooting to the component level is preferred.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision and interface effectively with fellow team members.
- Able to work well in a fast-paced professional environment.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy, highly organized, computer literate.
- Effective organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Must be familiar with Microsoft Office
Pay rate : $27.00 to $30.00 per hour. Pay may vary depending on experience, qualifications, and other job-related factors.
