Job Description
The Army TADSS Maintenance Program (ATMP) is a seven year Single Award ID / IQ contract for maintenance, sustainment, operations, and support of Army Training Aids, Devices, Simulators, and Simulations (TADSS), Live-Fire Ranges, and Instrumentation Systems.
The ATMP portfolio includes 250,000 live, virtual, constructive, and gaming TADSS located at 422 sites worldwide. The primary customer is PEO STRI in Orlando, FL.
PEO STRI’s published vision for ATMP is integrated, one-stop, world-wide maintenance and sustainment for Army Program of Record (POR) TADSS.
Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day maintenance operations of TADSS-CCTT (Close Combat Tactical Trainer) Ground and Air devices.
The Electronic Technician III will lead a team of technicians, coordinating their efforts to maintain, repair, troubleshoot, and install various types of electronic equipment and related devices to the CCTT.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment, troubleshoot, and repair equipment IAW Technical Specification and Documents of fielded CCTT.
Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices. This position may provide technical guidance to lower level technicians.
Electronic Technician III shall diagnose equipment malfunctions, devise effective repair strategies, and ensure the timely restoration of equipment to its normal operation.
Additionally, they will document all maintenance actions by inputting data in the MIS Database system, assess the performance / reliability of repaired equipment, providing guidance and training to their team members as needed.
In addition to their supervisory duties, they will serve as a point of contact for unit preparatory actions, attend local meetings, handle requests for information (RFIs), and risk management, and mitigation to ensure mission success.
US Citizenship is required.
Qualified candidate must have an Interim DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to starting this position.
