Job Title : Material Review Board Design / Liaison Engineer

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Material Review Board Design / Liaison Engineer to join their dedicated team.

This role is integral to the successful execution of our client's ambitious projects and offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the future of aerospace technology

Key Responsibilities :

  • Thoroughly document discrepancies observed in spacecraft structures, ensuring all details are accurately recorded for future reference and analysis
  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of deviations from part print specifications that may impact the part's form, fit, and function, providing detailed reports on findings
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate actions for the final disposition of parts, ensuring all decisions align with our client's high-quality standards
  • Assess non-conformance areas concerning defects that may arise during the manufacturing process, providing expert advice on how to rectify these issues
  • Perform design engineering analysis of discrepant machined parts within an aerospace manufacturing facility, contributing to the continuous improvement of our client's products
  • Execute various types of analyses including tolerance stacks, stress, metallurgical, aerodynamic, dynamic, NDT, and heat transfer, utilizing your expert knowledge in these areas

Required Qualifications and Skills :

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or Civil Engineering from a recognized institution
  • A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience with aircraft, spacecraft, or launch vehicles, demonstrating a solid understanding of the industry
  • Prior experience with new aircraft or spacecraft fabrication is highly desirable, showcasing your ability to contribute to innovative projects
  • Previous experience with aircraft MRO is a plus, indicating your comprehensive understanding of maintenance, repair, and overhaul processes
