9 FTE + Night shift position (12 hour shifts) + The salary range for this job opening at PeaceHealth is $47.40 - $74.48 The hiring rate is dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to education, training, work experience, terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement, seniority, etc.

• Documents patient care in the healthcare record according to established standards.+ Directs and delegates care to other team members in accordance with their education, credentials, and demonstrated competence.
• Ensures own professional effectiveness through education and professional development.+ Participates in the development of and maintains established hospital policies, procedures and objectives, quality improvement, safety, environmental and infection prevention program.
• Management of ventriculostomy, EVD, and ICP.+ Nursing care of patients with non-traumatic ICH, non-traumatic SAH, seizures.
• Nursing care of patients post tPA, thrombectomy, aneurysm coiling, carotid artery stenting and intra-cranial stenting.+ Management of blood pressure abnormalities with parenteral vasoactive agents.

Completion of complex neurological assessments / scales+ Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education + Degree from an accredited School of Nursing required+ Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred Experience + Minimum of six months critical care RN experience in an acute care facility within the last five years required, or successful completion of an approved critical care training course / orientation and standard competencies within six months of hire.

• Preferred : Minimum of one year RN experience in an Intensive Care unit specializing in Cardiac, Neuro or Trauma Credentials + Required : State of Oregon nursing License+ Required : BLS at date of hire+ Required : ACLS required within a grace period according to Resuscitation Training Completion Requirements policy.
• Required : NIHSS and TNCC required within 12 months of hire / transfer date.+ Preferred : CCRN and CMC Skills + Demonstrated knowledge of and ability to apply age specific principles of growth and development and life stages to meet each patient's needs.
