Century Group is partnering with a client who is seeking two Staff Accountants to join their team. Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
Expected starting base salary $32 to $40 per hour.
Job Responsibilities :
- Prepare financial statement in accordance with GAAP.
- Analyze, reconcile, and follow up on monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Create monthly financial reporting packages.
- Account for prepaid expenses and accruals, including the preparation of amortization schedules.
- Assist with the maintenance and organization of accounting files.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in accounting and a minimum of 1-2 year's experience in general accounting, preparing reconciliations, and financial statements.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- High degree of attention to detail.
Experience :
- Comfort working on a fast-paced team with changing priorities, including the ability to handle multiple projects, prioritize, and produce timely and high-quality work.
- Independent and flexible problem-solver with the ability to adapt as the business grows.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with various levels of management and build relationships with partners throughout the business.
