Position Information Position Title Community Data Coordinator FLSA Classification NE Reports to Project Data Manager Salary Range I1 Weeks Per Year 52 Work Week 40 hours (minimum) Position Summary Coordinates fieldwork and data collection activities for the Center for Social Research.
Collaborates with the principal investigator(s) for selected research projects to ensure accurate data is collected. Facilitates, coordinates, helps to plan, and engages in data collection activities in support of the North Hartford Ascend Pipeline project.
This position is 100% grant-funded contingent upon annual renewal of external funding. The position will end on or before December 2026.
This role supports the North Hartford Ascend Pipeline (Ascend) : a place-based, cross-sector initiative that integrates schools and community and social services and supports to help children and families reach their full potential.

Description of Key Responsibility Tracks and documents daily activities for select research projects including, but not limited to, assessments, interviews, surveys, fieldwork, and program meetings.
Description of Key Responsibility Schedules and coordinates appointments, fieldwork and assessment activities with the program staff and research team.
Ensures data is collected by the researcher at appropriate intervals as outlined in research design project plan. Description of Key Responsibility Communicates progress and status of project activities, on an as needed basis, for research and program staff.
Prepares monthly reports on project activities for submission to the principal investigator. Description of Key Responsibility Performs data entry for assigned projects, maintaining data entry standards to ensure accuracy and integrity of the database.
Description of Key Responsibility Conducts interviews, surveys, and other field observations with program participants as supervised by principal investigator(s), as necessary and appropriate.
Description of Key Responsibility Establishes, cultivates, and maintains effective working relationships with program staff and other constituencies who have a vested interest in the research of the Center for Social Research.
Description of Key Responsibility Represents the Center for Social Research both internally and externally by attending meetings and travelling to program sites to review status of research projects as necessary and appropriate.
