ASSISTANT MANAGER, MERCHANDISING

Specific Responsibilities Would Include :

• Collaborating closely with the NY design & China hub team on a daily basis, providing real-time information to support their creative processes.
• Conducting market intelligence to identify customer preferences, trends, and competitors, informing handbag development.
• Communicating effectively with design, suppliers, factories, teammates to ensure accurate information exchange.
• Ensuring handbag samples meet quality standards before customer presentation.
• Monitoring timelines, tracking progress, and managing multiple projects.
• Cultivating supplier relationships, negotiating prices, suggesting cost-saving alternatives.
• Creating order charts / tracking forms and make sure they are accurate before placing to the production team.
• Diligently overseeing the confirmation and pre-production (P.P / TOP) sample in collaboration with the QA team.
• Collaborating closely with the production team to address any customer inquiries or concerns

Our Best Fit Candidate Would Have :

• Proven working experience in merchandising
• Creativity, technical capability and sensibility for merchandising / design
• Up to date with the latest merchandising trends and best practices
• Knowledge of Handbag manufacturing, including construction, fabrication, trim and print techniques
• Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines; highly detail oriented and meticulous
• Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Adobe products,
• Less experience will be considered as Merchandiser.
