Executive Recruiting Network is looking for a Nurse Practitioner at a healthcare facility located in Brooklyn, NY
Pay Rate : $80.00-90.00 per hour.
Responsibilities :
- Diagnose and treat both adults and pediatric patients
- Conduct Federal Department of Transportation Medical Exams
- Collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results.
- Complete patient visit / encounter documentation in a timely fashion
- Direct activities of Medical Assistants, X-Ray Technologist, and other medical staff during assigned shifts
- Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
- Monitor patients' conditions / progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
- Simple laceration repairs and manage / treat fractures by evaluating X-rays and applying splints
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic exams and imaging.
- Analyze records, reports, and examination information to diagnose and treat patient conditions.
- Prescribe or administer treatments, medications, vaccinations, and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury.
- Refer patients to the Emergency Department or other practitioners when necessary.
Qualifications :
- Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner Program
- Currently hold / maintain a license to practice as a Family Nurse Practitioner in the State of New York.
- Minimum of two (2) Years of post-licensure practice in an Urgent Care or Family Practice
