Summary : The Community Coordinator will be the first smiling face a guest sees when they walk through our doors + the last goodbye they hear after their visit to BASE ONE.
They will check guests in + out, stock shelves & supplies, serve up specialty coffees and cocktails, fold a towel or two, all while being surrounded by the most beautiful training environment and creating an overall positive guest experience.
This will be an hourly position with schedules that will support the operational hours for BASE ONE, as early as 8am. There may be the need for Sunday coverage depending upon special scheduled events.
The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule, strong social skills allowing them to interact with our guests and the ability to multi-task during the workday.
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Guest Engagement providing attentive, fun, upbeat atmosphere catered to the unique experience
- Prepare + serve a variety of beverages or snacks
- Elevated coffee experience (lattes, espressos, frappes, etc.)
- Limited alcohol selection (signature cocktails, wine, mock tails, etc. for team members +21 years old)
- Assist with catering logistics when applicable
- Performs service ring outs, handles petty cash, deposits, cash drawers
- Check in + check out guests for their services, products, etc.
- Frequently circulates ensuring all guests have their needs met + answering questions
- Daily opening and closing duties
- Assists with cleanliness - dusting, stocking, loading and unloading dishwasher, light laundry, trash removal and washroom checks
- Maintain accordance with company standards, state health board and alcohol service requirements
- Verifies spaces are and checks out renters to ensure spaces are prepared for next guest
- Stock and restock responsibilities
- Move / reset furniture and spaces in efficient / timely manner
- On boarding of guests at BASE ONE : tour, intro and free sips
- Supports basic tech questions relating to all creative spaces, escalates issues when needed
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
- Upbeat individual with fashion-forward appearance
- Excellent communication and social skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize daily responsibilities with minimal supervision
- Ability + desire to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal skills that allow for confident interactions with all demographics of potential guests / clients
- Ability to stand / walk for the majority of scheduled shifts
- Capable + willing to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
- 21+ year old candidates preferred
- Basic understanding of technology support
- Must be able to walk, stand, squat, bend and lift 20 lbs
- Customer service, SERVE SAFE or serving experience is a plus
