Workday Financials Analyst

Job Description

One of our clients is looking for a Workday Financials Analyst to join their rapidly growing business solutions organization.

This person will specialize and own the support of the financial modules within Workday. Daily responsibilities include partnering with the finance team and business partners to understand, gather and create requirements, take that information from the business to complete new data loads into workday, work with organizations to help them understand the full scope of capabilities within workday and lay out all configuration options to help the business achieve their goals specific to managing financial operations.

This resource will need to have a background in finance to understand priorities and then help with more configurations within the modules later on.

This resource also needs to be experienced specifically in the accounting center and FDM modules which includes posting rules, setting up ledger sites, supporting accounts payable, invoicing, requisitions, and business assets.

This opportunity is a very exciting role for someone to join a team that will help build out new capabilities but also gain new knowledge in other workday modules.

The workday implementation is on-going with an implementation partner and go live date of January 1st, so it would be very helpful to have someone that has experience working with a Workday partner that has done multiple implementations.

We are looking for someone remotely but willing to travel to headquarter offices / conferences a 2 times a year.

Compensation : $70 / hr to $90 / hr

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401K retirement account access with employer matching.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4+ years of experience working as a Workday Financials analyst
• Workday Financials Pro certified
• Extensive experience within accounting center and FDM Modules
• Background working in finance / accounting
• Excellent communication skills

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• Experience in Adaptive Planning, Prism and Strategic Sourcing modules
• Financial certifications ex. CPA
• Experience working in the insurance industry
