We are seeking a Part Time Language Arts Teacher to work on evenings and Saturdays to join our team! This is a long term position.
You will educate students in Advanced Grammar, Critical Reading and Essay Writing skills.
Responsibilities :
- Manage and educate students in a classroom setting in a fast paced environment.
- Adhere to established teaching curriculum
- Maintain positive relationships with students and parents
- Document and share student grades and evaluations
We are looking for someone who
o is patient and kind, and also enthusiastic and fun
o can multitask well, working with several children at the same time
o is willing to be trained
o is tech savvy and proficient in computers.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience in teaching or other educational fields
- Strong classroom management skills
- Ability to build rapport with students
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- High school teachers may apply for 2 hour slots to fit their current school schedule. Great environment, convenient hours!
