Job Summary

Under general direction of the Logistics & Inventory Manager the Shipping and Receiving Clerk will be responsible for kit pulling, receiving, cycle counting and shipping of Nordson product.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for coordinating shipments of all Nordson goods along with all appropriate paperwork
• Responsible for ensuring that goods received are checked against the packing slip and purchase order, notifying the Purchasing department of any discrepancies
• Responsible for all receiving, including but not limited to, vendor PO items, RMA’s, repairs and returns
• Responsible for the delivery of all non-production shipments to end user and for issuing stock material via work orders to the Production department
• Responsible for the proper packing and shipping of all finished goods and customer spares
• Ensures and assists in all documentation required in adherence to export compliance lists
• Support the Shipping and Receiving Supervisor with perpetual inventory cycle counts of stock in accordance with the schedule supplied by the Finance department
• Loads and unloads shipments and deliveries
• Ensures good communication between all departments making sure that the company’s needs in respect to the Shipping and Receiving department are met
• All other duties, as assigned

Education and Experience Requirements

High School Diploma or GED Equivalent required

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent communication skills both written and oral with the ability to communicate at the employee, manager and upper management levels
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 pounds
• Excellent attention to detail
