LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Trauma Registrar for a 6-18 month contract position in Washington, Will be responsible for collection of desease specific data and entering it into the Trauma Registry.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities :
Data Collection (30%)
Collect data on injury events, demographics, pre-hospital information, diagnosis, care, outcomes, and treatment costs.
Performance Improvement and Patient Safety (PIPS) (20%)
Run reports from the Trauma Registry to review patient care and identify variations in processes and outcomes.
Statistical Data Maintenance (15%)
Maintain statistical data for trauma services and generate reports.
Trauma Service Representation (10%)
Represent trauma services at meetings and during survey activities.
Software Review and Compatibility (10%)
Ensure new software is compatible with existing systems and meets trauma service needs.
Personnel Training (5%)
Train staff on trauma service software and procedures.
Budget Participation (5%)
Assist in developing and implementing the trauma services budget.
Incident Investigation (5%)
Investigate issues related to the trauma registry and ensure proper identification and protocol initiation for trauma patients.
Experience :
Must be a Certified Specialist in Trauma (CSTR) or Certified Abbreviated Injury Scale Specialist (CAISS).
Minimum 2+ years of data entry, emergency, trauma, or critical care settings.
Bachelor's Degree and completion of the American Trauma Society's Trauma Registrar Course or equivalent is needed.
Employment Type : 6 month contract that may extend up to 18 months
Schedule : 8 AM -5 PM
