SCHEDULE :
New hires are required to work in the office Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 6 PM. Once fully trained, the supervisor will transition the new hire to a hybrid schedule, with the option to work from home on Mondays and Fridays.
JOB SUMMARY :
This role is a primary sales role into building and maintaining the North America Retail Dept accounts. Candidates will have sales & customer service experience to expertly support the Retail Sales Account Managers across all areas of operation to reach sales goals and objectives.
High skill in attention to detail and numeracy are required as well as attention to detail due to the level of tasks required to support each account.
Concentration, ability to learn quickly and drive are crucial to this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
To provide administrative support to the Retail Sales Account Managers where required, including but not limited to the following :
- Administrate and track all sales made to each retailer, by artist, by product, by design.
- Tracking design submission from initial concept visual through to physical sample approval and final production.
- Request SKU numbers from production team & assigning them to designs that have been selected by retailers.
- Submit items for concept approval to appropriate brand manager.
- Submit sample requests to production team upon buyer confirmation and concept approval.
- Assist and support the Sales Account Managers with processing Purchase Orders, including EDI processing for relevant retailers.
- Working in tandem with Production dept. & Sales Account Managers to ensure retailer samples are sent & approvals are tracked, to meet with timings required in-line with vendor compliance.
- Assist with the upkeep and management of internal cross-reference trackers, to match incoming monthly & quarterly sales accounting statements, ensuring all business transactions are recorded correctly.
- Provide general administrative support to the Retail sales team as needed.
- Other duties as required.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred.
- 1 year of experience in sales or data entry.
- Retailer based vendor compliance knowledge helpful.
- Ability to identify errors, identify queries and assist with problem solving.
- Ability to prioritize workflow and meet strict deadlines.
- Understanding of web-based applications.
- Experience in PLM, Navision & Media Box advantageous.
- Either MAC or PC usage will be needed.
- Ability to adapt to fast paced environment.
- Highly skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint.
- High degree of attention to detail with accurate data entry & proficient administration skills.
- Basic accountancy knowledge.
- Sales, Operational and Supply Chain knowledge.
- Time management skills.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to talk or hear in order to give and receive information and instructions.
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, use hands to type, handle or feel objects, tools or controls.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms.
- Ability to use computer keyboard up to 80% of the day.
- Visual acuity, ability to adjust focus and peripheral vision for work on a laptop or other computer equipment.
- Lift and / or move up to 25 pounds.
