Pacific International has been retained by a leading global chemical and materials manufacturer with revenues of $2-3B is seeking a Product Stewardship Director to lead and drive strategic initiatives across its diverse portfolio.

With a global presence in over 30 countries, the Product Stewardship Director will oversee global product stewardship efforts, ensuring compliance, safety, and sustainability.

The role offers the opportunity to collaborate with global teams, structure workflows, and lead the development of processes that drive product safety and environmental responsibility.

This individual will have autonomy to scope and shape projects, make critical decisions, and work cross-functionally to support innovation and compliance initiatives across the business.

This is a search for a hands-on leader who can bring expertise in product stewardship and work across multiple divisions and geographies to shape the future of the organization’s environmental and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities :

• Prepares and updates product safety information
• Support customer regulatory questionnaire process
• Obtains FDA Free Trade / Export certifications
• FDA foods facility registration
• Point of contact in event of spill during transit or offsite
• Approver for critical supplier (including new suppliers)
• Partners with R&D

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field preferred
• 5+ years in product stewardship
• Proficient FDA and EPA regulations and communications
• Expertise in chemical manufacturing
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Demonstrated leadership and team collaboration skills.
