General Purpose :

This newly created position is accountable to provide customer relations interface with designed GoodTemps customer accounts.

Specifically, the individual will collaborate with both public and private sector customers to strengthen / maintain relationships with current GoodTemps customers and actively seek new GoodTemps customers to cultivate and then maintain relationships with those new customers.

This role is accountable to partner with Goodwill’s placement and recruitment development team to increase potential employment opportunities through current public or private sector contracts.

The role requires an individual with a passion for Goodwill’s mission and a combination of thinking and hands-on communication capabilities.

The GoodTemps Account Manager will report to GoodTemp’s AVP of Business Development, Partnerships & Temporary Talent Experience who is the Strategic and Operational Leader for GoodTemps staff.

The GoodTemps Account Manager will be accountable for continuously improving the customer experience, as well as supporting the outreach / engagement to new and existing customers.

Essential Functions :

Under the Direction and Supervision of the AVP of Business Development, Partnerships & Temporary Talent Experience :

  • Work with AVP of Business Development to present GoodTemp services to customers aligned with the strategic plan
  • Develop strong relationships with public contacts / worksite supervisors in order to expand temp, temp-to-hire and direct-hire opportunities with GoodTemps.
  • Build strong relationships specifically with NYSID, ACCSES-NJ and private sector customers to strengthen our customer relationships and maximize opportunities.
  • Attend business meetings / events / seminars / conferences, etc. to help promote our services and strengthen our current / future customer relationships.

  • Work to encourage and attain positive customer testimonials, reviews, compliments, success stories, etc.
  • Help to advocate for the people we serve so the assignments are beneficial for everyone involved.
  • Continuous focus on improving customer satisfaction, that customers are satisfied with services, remain repeat customers and recommend us to their peers, social media and elsewhere.
  • Enhance and improve communication with current and potential customers.
  • Client Support : Offer high-level support to employers and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Goal Achievement : Consistently meet and exceed customer satisfaction.

Qualifications / Basic Job Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree and / or 5+ years’ experience in staffing and marketing.
  • Excellent people and business etiquette skills.
  • Demonstrate organizational and administrative skills and ability to work effectively in an extensive inter-agency collaborative operation.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, in addition to professional presentation and excellent interpersonal / customer service skills.
  • Proficient with current software : Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to analyze customer survey data, determine trends and convert into action plans to continuously improve customer experience.
  • Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • The salary for this position will be $65,000.

Scope of Responsibility :

Reporting to AVP of Business Development, Partnerships & Temporary Talent Experience :

  • Work closely and remain in constant communication with the AVP of Business Development to ensure customer satisfaction with all department / services.
  • Provide high level support to AVP and GoodTemps staff.
  • Expected to demonstrate exceptional judgment, proactivity and responsiveness to agency needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to be mission-driven to promote the advantages of partnering with GoodTemps.

Special Working Conditions :

  • Travel within the market area of GoodTemps is required with the occasional need to travel outside that area for conferences, training, or other events.
