TGRC Inc. , a premier recruitment agency in the renewable energy sector, is currently seeking a highly skilled WTG Technician to be part of our client's onshore wind project in County Durham.
This is a dynamic contract opportunity aimed at professionals eager to make a tangible impact in the field of sustainable energy, over a period of 12 months.
Role Overview : As a WTG Technician, you will be essential in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing wind turbine generators (WTGs).
The role demands a high standard of operational proficiency and strict adherence to safety and environmental protocols, ensuring optimal performance of the wind turbines.
Responsibilities :
Conduct preventative and reactive maintenance on WTGs.
Diagnose and fix issues within mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems of the turbines.
Keep precise records of technical data and maintenance activities.
Comply with all safety standards and environmental regulations.
Collaborate with other team members to enhance turbine efficiency and reliability.
Requirements :
Demonstrated experience as a WTG Technician or similar position in the wind power sector.
Relevant technical qualification, such as a certificate or diploma in mechanical or electrical engineering.
Deep knowledge of wind turbine systems, including mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic components.
Excellent analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
