We're seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Logistics Coordinator. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing the efficient flow of shipments and ensuring accurate documentation throughout the process.
Key responsibilities include :
- Compiling shipping files detailing all items for shipment.
- Printing necessary paperwork including shipping lists, pallet labels, bill of lading, and commercial invoices as required.
- Ensuring compliance certificates are included when necessary.
- Verifying pallet contents and labeling according to specific customer requirements.
- Creating compliance certificates for US Cotton shipments per location.
- Sending compliance certificates monthly.
- Recording open purchase orders in the Supplier-Purchase Orders file.
- Matching packing slips with received items and purchase orders.
- Updating the Supplier-Purchase Orders file with received items.
- Verifying item codes, locations, and prices on purchase orders.
- Recording shipments and adding invoice numbers to items in the Sales Order file.
- Conducting monthly Work In Progress (WIP) inventory.
- Maintaining accurate records of finished goods per customer.
- Updating the Inventory Floor file with produced items.
- Updating the Polypro Inventory file on Wednesdays.
