Aveanna Private Dutynurses assist our patients with transitioning home from thehospital and provide the continuous care needed to remain at homewith their loved ones.

We match our nurses to their patients basedon skill age health condition and acuity level. Our nurses make apositive and lasting impact on their patients' lives byproviding oneonone care ranging from 8 to 16hourshifts.

Responsibilities

• Implementationof physicians prescribed plan of care
• Patientassessments and coordination ofcare
• Administration of prescribed medicationtreatments and therapies
• Compliant timelydocumentation of care provided in system ofrecord
• Health promotion teaching and trainingof family members
• Responsible for accepting andwriting verbal orders from physicians as required and for obtainingcosignature of Case Manager on all verbalorders
• Follow up with physician client familymembers staff and Case Manager on client problems concerns and / orchanges in client condition
• Performs otherappropriate duties asassigned

Qualifications

• Musthave and maintain an active unencumbered license (RN / LPN / LVN) inthe state in which the clinician willpractice
• Current CPR certification fromAmerican Red Cross American Heart Association orBLS
• TB skin test (current within last 12months)
• Six months prior handson nursingexperience preferred but not required
• Must havereliabletransportation
