Get to Know the Opportunity

Voya is seeking a skilled and motivated technician with expertise in Azure, Azure, Data Factory and Snaplogic data integration to join our team.

As a technical lead, you will play a pivotal role in monitoring and managing applications and processes utilizing both data platforms.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams including developers, architects and engineers to analyze, design, develop, and support software solutions that meet our business needs.

The Contributions You'll Make

  • Developing, deploy and maintain pipelines to ingest and transform data.
  • Provide technical leadership and support to a team of Cloud developers.
  • Implement and manage data security protocols and access controls.
  • Monitor and optimize performance for efficiency and scalability.
  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies.
  • Mentor and coach developers and administrators.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
  • Identify and resolve technical issues related to ADF and Snaplogic.
  • Plan and identify areas for modification and improvement.
  • Investigate and develop skills in new technologies.
  • Conduct testing and debugging to ensure software meets quality and performance standards.
  • Maintain clear and organized documentation of software code, specifications, and user manuals.
  • Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and expectations, ensuring the delivery of solutions that exceed expectations.

Minimum Knowledge & Experience

  • Experience with Azure and Azure Data Factory (ADF)
  • Hands on experience in Data Bricks, Snaplogic, ADLS, TWS, Spark, ETL, Sybase, Oracle.
  • Expertise in cloud deployments of ADF and DevOps
  • 8+ years of experience in building high-performing, scalable, enterprise-grade applications.
  • Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review.
  • Knowledge on production support and production incident trouble shooting skills.
  • Knowledge of front-end web development technologies and frameworks.
  • Strong experience in identifying and implementing proper software design patterns based on the solution.
  • Writing well designed, testable, efficient code.
  • Experience in Application Management would be an added advantage.
  • Deployment and configuration management skill also will add advantage.
  • Should be flexible to work in staged shifts.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work in rotational night shifts and rotational weekends.

Compensation Pay Disclosure :

Voya is committed to pay that’s fair and equitable, which means comparable pay for comparable roles and responsibilities.

The below annual base salary range reflects the expected hiring range(s) for this position in the location(s) listed. In addition to base salary, Voya offers incentive opportunities (i.

e., annual cash incentives, sales incentives, and / or long-term incentives) based on the role to reward the achievement of annual performance objectives.

Please note that this salary information is solely for candidates hired to perform work within one of these locations, and refers to the amount Voya Financial is willing to pay at the time of this posting.

Actual compensation offered may vary from the posted salary range based upon the candidate’s geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and / or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based upon the agreed upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
