Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Chief Scientist to join our team in the Hill AFB, UT area.

This is an onsite position.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

  • Performs the functions of a technical expert in the relevant scientific field in the support of major programs or system development
  • Applies scientific expertise in defining and resolving system issues, performing analysis and developing plans and requirements in the subject-matter area for complex systems
  • Coordinates and manages the preparation of analyses, evaluations, and recommendations for proper implementation of programs and systems

Basic Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field
  • 12+ years of relevant work experience
  • Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals and independently performs a wide variety of complicated tasks
  • May provide consultation on complex projects and is considered to be the top level contributor / specialist

Master’s degree

Clearance Requirements :

Active Secret clearance

Physical Requirements :

  • The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.

The projected compensation range for this position is $111,400-$185,700. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary / hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
