H1080 - Maintenance Electrician

Here’s what you can expect on a typical day as a Maintenance Electrician on our team at Mauser Packaging Solutions :

• Safety : Safety is our number one priority. You’ll learn our plant safety guidelines and pass all required safety training including lockout / tagout, housekeeping, and 5S standards.
• Quality : We take pride in our output, and you take pride in ensuring our equipment is running smoothly and safely.
• High-Speed, Loud Environment : We are a manufacturing facility with multiple loud pieces of machinery. Some areas of the plant get very warm in the summer.
• Hard work : Each day you’ll be bending, lifting, stooping to repair equipment. You will investigate the cause of line downtime and implement a fix.

This can include replacing sensors, contacts, motors, and drives. You’ll work with PLC equipment, run power and ethernet lines, and troubleshoot high-voltage equipment.

You are responsible for keeping your equipment in safe, usable condition and your area safe and tidy at all times.

Requirements :

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Read, develop, and understand pneumatic, hydraulic, and electronic documentation and drawings and interpret equipment data
• Experience and demonstrated knowledge of troubleshooting skills, primarily in PLC motor controls and electrical equipment
• Perform PLC programming & diagnostics on various systems and troubleshoot electrical equipment such as relays, contactors, overloads, timers, photodetection & proximity switches or light curtains
• Strong understanding of Allen Bradley Control Systems legacy and current systems
• Experience with Fanuc a plus
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook a plus
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Good mathematical and organizational skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Must be willing to occasionally work multiple shifts when necessary
