Our client, a leader in the biotech space, located by Princeton NJ is currently adding a Staff Accountant to their team. This role is open due to growth and is a Hybrid Schedule, 2-days in-office.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to :
- Responsible for general ledger work ( reconciliations ), records, and financial reports.
- Perform components of the month-end close process, including journal entry preparation, bank reconciliations, and account and financial statement analysis.
- Preparation and analysis of budgets, expenses, revenues, and sales.
- Manage billing, accounts payable, and accounts receivable
- Manage customer and vendor inquiries as they relate to our financial bookkeeping.
- Collections as they relate to accounts receivable
- Supports the finance team on daily activities within the department
- Support other departments and ad hoc tasks as needed.
Requirements :
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance related field.
- 1+ yrs of accounting experience garnered in a previous position or through participation in an internship program. Public Accounting a plus
- Developed Microsoft Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Netsuite Expertise preferred
