Job Description
The Department of Natural Sciences, in the College of Arts and Sciences, seeks applications from qualified candidates for a part-time non-tenure track position in Chemistry.
We seek qualified instructors to teach face-to-face lecture and laboratory courses. Responsibilities include creating and maintaining a safe environment for instruction and learning in a laboratory setting.
Compensation :
3-hour lecture courses $
3-hour laboratory $
Required Education and Experience :
Master's degree in Chemistry or a closely related field from a regionally accredited institution.
Must have 18 graduate credit hours in related area.
Preferred Education and Experience :
Experience teaching at the college level.
Experience working with all students from different backgrounds and settings.
Completed Ph.D. in Chemistry or related field.
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability :
Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.
Strong self-discipline and ability to work independently.
Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
