Bailey Collaborative Solutions is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to join our dynamic team.
As an MBSE, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of complex systems using model-based methodologies.
You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to analyze requirements, develop system architectures, and ensure the integration of all system components.
This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects within the NASA and Government industries.
Key Responsibilities :
- Utilize model-based systems engineering (MBSE) techniques and tools (such as SysML) to develop system architecture and design.
- Define and analyze system requirements and ensure traceability throughout the system lifecycle.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to capture and translate requirements into system models and specifications.
- Conduct system modeling, simulation, and analysis to validate system performance and behavior.
- Support system integration and verification activities, ensuring compliance with established standards and guidelines.
- Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and provide input to improve overall system design and functionality.
- Document and communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. Master's degree preferred.
- 0-8 years of experience (Pay will be decided on YOE)
- Strong understanding of systems engineering principles, including system architecture, requirements management, and system integration.
- Experience or Training with simulation and modeling tools (e.g., MATLAB / Simulink) is desirable.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and creatively.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
