Job Summary : The Social Media Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our social media strategy to increase our online presence, improve our marketing and sales efforts, and enhance our brand awareness within the motorsports community.
In this role you will be required to gain a deep understanding of the motorsports industry, a passion for high-performance driving, and a strong grasp of social media platforms and trends.
Key Responsibilities : Social Media Strategy : Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with the company’s marketing goals and objectives.
Conduct market research to identify trends, audience preferences, and competitive landscape. Set specific objectives and report on ROI.
Content Creation and Management : Create, curate, and manage engaging, high-quality content (including text, images, videos, and other multimedia formats) for all social media platforms.
Develop a content calendar to ensure consistent posting and timely updates. Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to ensure content aligns with brand voice and goals.
Community Engagement : Foster strong community relationships by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
Encourage user-generated content and manage customer feedback to build a loyal and engaged audience. Organize and participate in events to build community and boost brand awareness.
Performance Analysis : Monitor, track, and analyze performance metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of social media campaigns.
Prepare weekly & monthly reports detailing key metrics, performance analysis, and actionable insights. Use data-driven insights to optimize social media strategies and improve overall performance.
Brand Advocacy : Act as the face of RaceTreads.com on social media, representing our brand authentically and positively.
Collaborate with influencers, brand ambassadors, and partners to amplify our reach and credibility. Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies to keep our social media presence innovative and engaging.
Requirements : Proven work experience as a Social Media Manager or similar role In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, etc.
and best practices. Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills. Proficiency in social media management tools (e.
g., Hootsuite, Buffer) and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Insights). Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box and generate innovative content ideas.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for motorsports and high-performance driving is highly desirable. Key Responsibilities : Social Media Posts / Engagement Create a schedule of posts / reels / stories that are categorized and ready for approval on Loomly or a similar management app.
Post schedule Facebook 1 story per day 4 posts per day Instagram 1 video Reel per week 1 post per day Multiple stories per day Youtube & X (Twitter) As suggested TikTok 1 post per day of live events, driver / fan interviews Education : Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required.
