Résumé du poste
- Être à l’affût et assurer une vigie sur les tendances à l’échelle nationale et internationale dans le secteur du meuble résidentiel;
- Assurer le développement de designs tendances et techniques de nos produits;
- Élaborer des prototypes de nouveaux produits à partir des éléments utilisés : métal, tissus, bois;
- Prendre en charge la recherche, la sélection et la qualification des tissus de personnalisation;
- Participer aux sélections des finis, couleurs et matériaux;
- Collaborer étroitement avec les départements des ventes, du marketing et de recherche & développement;
- Respecter les échéanciers requis pour le lancement des produits.

Exigences et conditions
- Formation universitaire ou collégiale en Design industriel ou formation équivalente;
- Un minimum de 10 ans d’expérience de travail en design (milieu manufacturier un atout);
- Bilinguisme essentiel tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit (français et anglais);
- Connaissance des logiciels suivants : Autocad; 3D Studio Max ou tout autre logiciel de CAO / FAO tels SolidEdge, SolidWorks; Photoshop; Suite Office.
- 4 à 6 voyages par année à prévoir;
- Portfolio à présenter lors de la tenue d’entrevues de sélection, s’il y a lieu.
