Your Role :
As an Infection Preventionist with us, you will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and maintaining infection prevention and control programs.
Key responsibilities include :
- Conducting regular assessments and audits to identify and mitigate infection risks.
- Collaborating with healthcare teams to educate and enforce infection control protocols.
- Analyzing data to identify trends and implementing strategies for improvement.
- Keeping abreast of the latest developments in infectious diseases and prevention techniques.
Qualifications :
- Active Illinois nursing license Registered Nurse RN or Licensed Practical Nurse LPN.
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) is highly desirable.
- Proven experience in infection prevention within a healthcare setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and guidelines.
