OurClient is seeking a highly skilled Assistant Controller to jointheir team. The successful candidate will be responsible forassisting and managing financial operations in several regionsthroughout organization.
The ideal candidate should have a strongbackground in finance accounting or related field.
Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and oversee all month end closingactivities. Ensureall month end tasks are completed by the team in a timely mannerand balances are reconciled to the FinancialStatements
- Assist with preparation of internal and external month endreportingpackages
- Significant involvement in several areas of the annual auditpreparation
- Oversee the financial operations of several regional locationsincluding operations in Texas andCalifornia. Monitorand analyze financial performance identifying areas for improvementand cost savingopportunities
- Contribute through ideas and actions to the development ofstandardized processes and procedures across theorganization
- Execution of corporate integration plan for futureacquisitions
- Manage and develop a team of finance professionals providingguidance and coaching to theteam. Abilityto manage and direct employees in several regions throughout thecountry
Requirements
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in finance accounting or a relatedfield
- Experience working in an accounting department in a supervisoryrole for a minimum of 3 years or a minimum of 5 years publicaccounting experience in audit or advisoryservices
- Demonstrated understanding of Generally Accepted AccountingPrinciples and experience in full financial statementpreparation
- Proven experience overseeing all phases of the accounting cycleespecially Accounts Payable Accounts Receivable and monthlyP&Lpreparation
- Excellent leadership and team managementskills.
- Exceptional analytical and problemsolvingabilities.
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems implementationand / or improvement projects experience aplus
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced high growthenviroment
