Your Role on Our Team :

The primary function of this position is to have channel marketing ownership of the Automotive Aftermarket Segment of the Transportation Maintenance Distribution Channel.

Identify strategic opportunities, evaluate market threats, develop corresponding marketing strategies, and manage deployment and administration of marketing resources to achieve corporate objectives.

You’ll be DISRUPTIVE through these duties and responsibilities :

Work with channel / customer to identify, develop, commercialize and implement channel / customer specific programs (channel promotions, strategic programs, events, marketing materials, etc).

Develop, present, and execute key New Product commercial strategies and tactical initiatives for channel. Effectively report back to the organization successes, challenges and go forward opportunities.

Recommend the optimal product assortment across all business units by utilizing category management techniques, market information and end user research.

Manage approved channel specific expense budgets. Assist with the development of the channel budget and new strategic spend initiatives core to evolution of the business.

Collect / develop and analyze sales reports and market feedback from internal sources, customer feedback, and other sources to identify key issues, trends, opportunities, and market share growth / decline for use in marketing and sales planning purposes.

Work with National Account Managers and other Sales Representatives to gain knowledge of customer interaction, sales processes, and industry opportunities.

Assist in the development of annual business plan for channel / customer. Conduct competitive market analysis to formulate recommendations for an annual brand and product plans including advertising and promotional strategies.

Other TOOLS we prefer you to have :

Highly organized and very strong, proven project management skills.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related area

Minimum 3-5 years experience in a sales, and / or marketing.

Significant knowledge of channels of distribution

Sound analytical skills and acute attention to details

Strong communication skills, persuasive and able to effectively communicate ideas.

Proficiency in PC skills including MS Office and Internet usage is required.

Ability to travel 20% of time.
