Job Summary : We are seeking a passionate and dynamic individual to join our team as an Outreach Navigator. The primary responsibility of this role is to engage with diverse community organizations, stakeholders, and individuals to promote awareness of our organization's mission, services, and resources.
The Outreach Navigator will develop and maintain partnerships, deliver presentations, and conduct outreach activities to increase visibility and access to our programs.
This position requires strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills, as well as a commitment to serving underserved populations.
Responsibilities :
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to connect with community organizations, healthcare providers, social service agencies, schools, faith-based groups, and other stakeholders.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key partners to promote collaboration, resource sharing, and mutual support.
- Conduct presentations, workshops, and information sessions to educate stakeholders and community members about our organization's mission, programs, and services.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop outreach materials, presentations, and messaging tailored to diverse audiences and cultural contexts.
- Attend community events, health fairs, meetings, and conferences to represent our organization and engage with community members.
- Provide information, referrals, and support to individuals seeking assistance with accessing our services or navigating the healthcare system.
- Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to develop promotional materials, social media content, and outreach campaigns to raise awareness of our organization.
- Track and document outreach activities, partnerships, and outcomes to assess effectiveness and inform future outreach efforts.
- Stay informed about community needs, trends, and resources to identify opportunities for collaboration and program development.
- Participate in training, professional development, and team meetings to enhance skills and knowledge relevant to outreach and community engagement.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in public health, social work, community health, or related field (preferred).
- Previous experience in community outreach, public relations, or related field.
- Strong communication skills, including public speaking, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders and community members.
- Knowledge of community resources, social services, and healthcare systems.
- Cultural competence and sensitivity to effectively engage with diverse populations.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Valid driver's license and access to reliable transportation (preferred).
