Job Title : Senior Business Analyst
Job Description :
The Senior Business Analyst will act as a liaison between business users, the client development team, and cloud vendors.
This role involves gathering and documenting project scope, use cases, and functional requirements, while managing project plans and coordinating activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Gather and document project requirements and use cases.
- Prepare and manage project plans, ensuring compliance with agency priorities.
- Create and maintain SDLC artifacts for review and approval.
- Facilitate testing, implementation plans, user guides, and documentation.
- Collaborate with IT and business units to resolve production issues and support requests.
- Monitor solution performance and report status to senior management.
- Identify risks and manage scope changes, escalating issues as necessary.
- Work closely with QA to resolve issues prior to release.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Knowledge of software development principles and the SDLC.
- Proficient in Jira and Microsoft 365 applications.
- Experience in data structures, application programming, or database development.
- Strong skills in creating flow charts, diagrams, and use cases.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
Education and Certifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management as a Senior Business Analyst.
- Experience in all phases of the SDLC, including post-production verification.
- Government or healthcare experience is preferred.
