Who we are :
UMFS is a nonprofit organization that provides a comprehensive array of programs to support children, teens, and parents as they work to overcome challenges.
We equip families with tools for success so they can achieve their goals. As a national leader in helping young people and families, we also proactively identify unmet social services needs and develop the necessary partnerships to address those needs.
What we do :
Our regional centers offer individualized treatment for children and teens who are being placed out of home and have special emotional, behavioral, or medical needs.
Our youth and families are supported by a collaborative team of specially trained clinical staff and foster parents, who provide daily behavioral health interventions that align with each child’s individualized treatment plan.
What we are looking for :
A Foster Parent Recruiter to develop and implement creative strategies and activities that lead to the identification and engagement of qualified new resource families statewide for the Treatment Foster Care program.
What you will need :
High School diploma. Must have at least 3 years foster parent experience with reference from the certified agency. Excellent public speaking skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, knowledge of recruiting and retention programs, ability to independently plan and organize time and activities, and experience in foster care recruitment or non-profit marketing a plus.
