Established oil and gas services company sector with a commitment to providing unrivaled energy solutions, is seeking a dedicated and driven Senior Accountant.
This role is an opportunity to contribute to the fiscal integrity and growth of the organization across various entities.
As the Senior Accountant, you will be tasked with preparing journal entries, managing account, and credit card reconciliations.
You will also be handling expense reconciliations, assisting with month-end close activities, and managing the books for around 6-7 different entities.
The use of Great Plains software and Excel will be extensively required in this role. Therefore, familiarity and competence in both these areas is preferred.
Qualifications :
Degree in Accounting or a related field.
Minimum of 5+ years' relevant accounting experience, ideally within the Oil and Gas sector.
Proven experience in the use of Great Plains software.
Detail-oriented with mastery in MS Excel.
Experienced in financial statement preparation and account reconciliations.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or relevant field required
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Proficient in month-end close and month-end close activities
- Experience in balance sheet account reconciliation and account reconciliation
- Ability to generate and analyze cash flow reports
- Experience in managing accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
- Proficiency in MS Great Plains Accounting, MS Great Plains Dynamics, and MS Great Plains eEnterprise
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Possess strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and other accounting principles
