Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor patient care plans. Monitor, record and communicate patient condition as appropriate.
• Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders.
• Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.

Minimum Qualifications

• Unit Capacity : 36 Beds
• Population Served : Cardiac and Neuro Stepdown
• Cardiac bedside monitoring, Cardiac drips, TR bands, Post heart caths, Stroke / Neuro patients, BIPAP overflows
• Ages of Patients Served : Young Adult through Late Adult (18 - 60+)
• Nurse to Patient Ratios : 1 : 6

QUALIFICATIONS

• BLS and ACLS
• National Institutes of Health (NIH)
• Certified Principal Investigator (CPI) Certification
• Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
• The ability to stand for extended periods.
• Strong technical skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology
• Passionate about patient care
• Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Cardiac Telemetry experience.
• Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
• Active unencumbered RN Tennessee state license
• One year of Epic experience
