TNR is looking for people who are obsessive about details, comfortable searching archives and databases, and willing to pick up the phone and make the extra call.
While the position is essentially a research role, those in the program are also encouraged to pitch ideas and to write. Candidates for this position should have experience covering the news quickly and on deadline, and the ability to identify shrewd, original angles in regular news items.
We want people who are brimming with story ideas and willing to take the initiative to pursue them.This is a full-time remote position, but you must be based in one of the following regions : Connecticut, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Washington, D.
C., Illinois, or Florida. Salary is $39,649.64 and includes a competitive benefits package.
