Landus is currently seeking a Manager of Rail Logistics! Are you efficient in logistics and supply chain management? Then come join our team!
We are seeking a motivated individual who can efficiently manage and lead the Rail Logistics Department to ensure that equipment is available, dependable and comply with safety policies.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities : Includes but not limited to the following :
- Work closely with Chief Commodity Marketing Officer to determine business needs and appropriate railcar size
- Procurement of railcar leases and rail freight to support business needs
- Rating, routing and billing of railcars to ensure compliance with customers contract terms
- Develop comprehensive rail rate data base for agronomy, grain and soy meal shipments
- Procure and direct freight services for export shipments
- Establish and maintain close working relationships with each business unit to provide the support for efficient and profitable operations
- Develop comprehensive rail equipment data base to cover all leased assets
- Maintain records involving rail fleet logistics costs, rail fleet sizing and monitoring performance ensure optimal utilization
Requirements :
Required Qualifications :
Must have a valid state motor vehicle license.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or five years of related dispatching experience.
- Good computer skills.
- Understand the seasonality of an agricultural cooperative and the in-season time commitment.
