Position Summary

The Clinical Assistant I will support the operations of the fraud, waste, and abuse program for FEP (Federal Employee Program).

The Clinical Assistant I will use online databases and other resources to document appropriate recommendations, clinical decisions and responses.

Other responsibilities include the creation and maintenance of member files, and the generation, mailing and tracking of member and prescriber correspondence.

The Clinical Assistant I supports the FEP department to deliver the highest quality service to client and membership, healthcare providers, and internal partners.

Hybrid work from home in Phoenix, AZ.

Required Qualifications

• Pharmacy Technician License (CPhT) required and in good standing.
• 5+ years of pharmacy technician experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Time management skills. Detail oriented, ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical medications. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple demands while meeting deadlines.
• Must be able to communicate in a professional demeanor and maintain high confidentiality standards.
• Ability to meet contractual obligations determined by the client.
• Strong knowledge of computer programs (Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, RxClaim, program specific database applications, including Advance Clinical, etc.).

Preferred Qualifications

PBM or related work experience, 1-3 years

Education

H.S. or equivalent

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is :

$17.00 - $28.45

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.

The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
