Team members are valued beyond the projects, which contributes to the strong company culture. Our client is currently seeking a motivated Office Manager to join the team who is looking to grow with the business.

Job Description

The Construction Office Manager will :

  • Office Administration : Oversee all office operations, including maintaining office supplies, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, and ensuring the office is well-organized and functioning efficiently.
  • Support to Management : Provide administrative support to the executive and project management teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and managing communications.
  • Human Resources Support : Assist with HR functions such as onboarding new employees, maintaining employee records, and managing timesheets and payroll coordination.
  • Financial Administration : Handle basic accounting tasks such as invoicing, processing payments, managing budgets, and reconciling accounts.
  • Project Coordination : Support project management by coordinating documentation, tracking project timelines, and maintaining records for ongoing projects.
  • Vendor and Client Relations : Manage relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients, ensuring that all administrative aspects of contracts and agreements are handled efficiently.
  • Health and Safety Compliance : Assist in maintaining workplace safety standards by ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and company policies.
  • Technology Management : Coordinate with IT support to ensure all office equipment and systems are functioning properly and address any technical issues that arise.
  • Event Planning : Organize company events, meetings, and training sessions, including logistics, catering, and material preparation.

The Successful Applicant

The successful Construction Office Manager will have the following :

  • 6+ years' experience in Commercial Construction Administration
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with construction industry processes and terminology is a plus
