Summary
Selby Jennings is currently partnered with a leading P&C insurer looking to bring on a Quality Engineer to focus on building the testing / automation strategy, automation frameworks and provide quality assurance supportas the team looks to implement a new guidewire suite.
The focus of this role will be on Guidewire Policy, Billing and Claim Centers and will work across UI and API testing / automation.
Responsibilities
- Set up strategies to drive continuous efficiencies.
- Build test plans and approaches for time travel testing including the planning associated towards required environments.
- Create and Maintain Test Automation Scripts using Guidewire GT UI, and API test. frameworks, or BDD Framework with Cucumber, or Java with Selenium test frameworks.
- Lead and manage QA team efforts and report directly to senior management.
- Lead the end-to-end testing efforts for Guidewire applications, including planning, execution, and reporting.
- Hands on Production support experience on Guidewire products.
- Train and mentor junior team members.
Qualifications
- SME of Guidewire Commercial lines of business Property / Package, Commercial Auto, Excess, Workers’ comp, General Liability, Umbrella, and other Commercial lines.
- Minimum of 3 full Guidewire implementation cycles required. Policy Center implementation experience required . Claims and Billing Center implementation experience preferred
- Guidewire associate certification with V10 or Cloud Guidewire product preferred.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Test automation experience driven by Guidewire GT UI and API test frameworks or BDD Framework with Cucumber in Gherkin language, or Java with Selenium test frameworks.
- Understanding of test automation across test data, data platform, Guidewire, APIs, and non-functional testing.
Expected Base Compensation : $100,000 - $130,000
Additional Notes : This role is NOT eligible for visa sponsorship at this time. This role is remote, but requires occasional travel to the firm's NJ office for onboarding / training
