As a Windows Server Administrator, you will execute pre-defined processes in order to support, administer, and maintain our Windows server environment.
You will collaborate extensively with Technology teams to deliver stable and reliable Windows servers. You will focus on work that needs to be performed in the current iteration and plan work that needs to be performed 1-2 iterations in the future.
Job duties may include, but are not limited to :
Work to resolve current tickets, problems, and requests.
Participate in projects while collaborating with application owners on new services and growing existing services running on Windows servers.
Participate in monthly Windows server OS patching and quarterly hardware firmware patching.
Create and maintain documentation on processes, procedures, and workflows. Create technical documentation for stakeholders and automate routine tasks.
Participate in professional development activities.
Create and maintain provisioning templates; assist with provisioning of new virtual Windows servers, and install and configure Windows Server OS on physical servers.
Secure Windows servers via Windows firewall rules, antivirus configuration, group policy, and least privilege access.
Actively contribute to making the team and culture stronger by assisting with other duties as needed, excluding licensed activity.

3+ years of relevant professional experience working in an active directory environment
Experience with Windows server setup, deployment, and maintenance in a highly virtualized environment
Experience with at least one scripting language, such as Python, PowerShell, Perl, etc.
Familiarity with modern operating systems, server platforms, and virtualization technology
Experience with Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (SCCM)
Proficient in basic computer technologies, appropriate for an internet-based company
Regular and predictable attendance
Available to work outside normal business hours and / or on weekends
