Position Overview :
We're seeking an experienced HVAC Installer with 6-10 years of commercial installing experience to join our team. You'll be responsible for installing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial buildings according to specifications and industry standards.
Responsibilities :
- Install HVAC systems in commercial buildings, including ductwork, piping, wiring, and equipment.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine installation requirements.
- Measure and cut materials, fabricate components, and assemble parts for accurate and efficient installations.
- Install and connect HVAC equipment, ensuring proper functionality and compliance with safety regulations.
- Test HVAC systems for leaks, pressure, and performance, making adjustments as needed.
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to coordinate installation activities and meet deadlines.
- Provide training and guidance to junior installers and apprentices.
- Adhere to company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
Qualifications :
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or apprenticeship in HVAC installation preferred.
- 6-10 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints and specifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of HVAC codes, regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- EPA Universal certification preferred.
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred.
