Position Summary
This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the mission of Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center.

The employee shall support Orange Coast Memorial Medical Center’s strategic plan and participate in and advocate performance improvement / patient safety activities.
Staffing Office Coordinator, in conjunction with Management, will coordinate the scheduling of nursing staff and supplementary staff placement for the overall effective operation of patient care services at OCMMC.
Enters request for contract labor and reviews profiles of contract staff in shift wise. Tracks staffing for all units and works with all departments to ensure staffing needs are met.

- Placement in the pay range is based on multiple factors including, but not limited to, relevant years of experience and qualifications.
In addition to base pay, there may be additional compensation available for this role, including but not limited to, shift differentials, extra shift incentives, and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements
Qualifications / Work Experience :
- One year experience in a Central Nurse Staffing Office preferred.
- Computer skills and knowledge.
- Proficient in medical terminology
- Basic Clerical Skills
- Excellent communication skills and demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Education / Licensure / Certification :
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Medical terminology
